Inconel 601 alloy is a nickel-chromium-iron-based solid-solution strengthened alloy, which has good high temperature corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance, excellent cold and hot processing and welding performance, and has satisfactory thermal strength and high plasticity below 700 °C. The alloy can be strengthened by cold working, and can also be connected by resistance welding, welding or brazing. It is suitable for making anti-oxidation parts that withstand low loads below 1100 °C.

Inconel 601 Main Features:
1.Excellent oxidation resistance at high temperature
2. Good carbonation resistance
3. Good resistance to oxidation and sulfur-containing atmosphere
4. Good mechanical properties at both room temperature and high temperature
5. Very good resistance to stress corrosion cracking Due to the control of carbon content and grain size, Inconel 601 has high creep rupture strength, so Inconel 601 is recommended for use in areas above 500 °C.
Inconel 601 Corrosion Resistance:
An important property of Inconel 601 alloy is its oxidation resistance at temperatures up to 1180°C. Even under severe conditions, such as heating and cooling cycles, Inconel 601 can form a dense oxide film to obtain high resistance to peeling off. Inconel 601 has very good carbonation resistance. Due to the high content of chromium and aluminum, Inconel 601 has good oxidation resistance in high-temperature sulfur-containing atmosphere.

2. Steel wire split annealing and radiant tubes, high-velocity gas burners, wire mesh belts in industrial furnaces.
